Ancient Coinage of Hieropolis-Kastabala, Cilicia, (Hierapolis-Kastabala)


Between 52 BC. and 17 BC. the town became the centre of an independent principality under Tarcondimotus I. Augustus restored its influence by making Tarcondimotus II the new king.
