The coinage of this town always has the name ΛAOΔIK or ΛAOΔIKI ΠΡOC ΛIBAN or ΛIBANω or ΛIBANω MHN on the reverse, to distinguish the mint from other cities named Laodikeia. The town struck provincial coins only, for the Severans (possibly also for Elagabalus) and Sev. Alexander.
