Titus, AE24 of Cilicia, Olba. 23.9 mm, 11.01 g. Obv: (legend unclear) Laureate head of Vespasian or Domitian right. Rev: AYTOKRATOROS TITOY OYESPASIANOY, Bare head of Titus right. This coin is slightly larger than RPC 1719 and exactly two grams heavier, so this size seems closer to 1720. The coin appears to be a double die match to RPC 1719 and also a die match to the Titus side of RPC 1720. There seems to be some variation between weight, diameter and die axis in this small series, so we'll call this RPC 1719. Contributed by Tom Mullally, Neptune Numismatics. Sept 2011.
