Obv: M ANTONINVS AVG TR P XXVI, Laureate, cuirassed bust right Rev: IMP VI COS III, Roma seated left, holding Victory and spear, large shield at side Reference: BM 557 note. RIC 259 var (not listed with this but type). RSC 280 var. This coin is not in RIC or RSC with this bust type. This denarius seems to be the one with an odd description as BM 557 note: "laureate, with cuirass on r. shoulder, note in B.M." Contributed by Martin Griffiths, April, 2005.
