Under Elagabalus the city Decapolis became a Roman
colony, Petra. Earlier coins, Hadrian to Caracalla and Geta, all
have Greek legends. All of Elagabalus's Petra coins have Latin
legends and the title Colony. That was the mint's last issue
altogether.
