PONTIF MAX TR P II COS II P P, SC in ex, Roma seated left, holding Victory and sceptre; shield at her side. Toynbee p. 163 and plate. XXVIII, 8 (same dies). Very rare. Not in RIC, Cohen or BMC. Contributed by Dr. Hubert Lanz, auction November 2000, Added July 2011. This appears to be RIC 295b; Cohen 232 with the same legends, bust type, reverse image etc. but Lanz describes it as "not in RIC...". Can anyone see what I am missing ?
