M COMMODVS ANTONINVS - PIVS FELIX AVG BRIT, laureate and cuirassed half-length bust right, seen from front, on breast of cuirass aegis in form of two wings of goatskin centered on Medusa head, right shoulder of cuirass ornamented with figure of a helmeted divinity standing right and holding vertical scepter, clasp and long fold of cloak on left shoulder / PACI AETER P M TR P XIIII IMP VIII around, COS V P P in exergue, Pax seated left on high-backed throne, left forearm on arm rest, holding branch and transverse scepter. Gnecchi 56, pl. 82. 3 (same dies). Bust variety of Cohen 393. The divinity decorating the shoulder strap of the cuirass seems not to have been noticed before.
