Obv:  AY KAI M AYP ANT(W)NINOC. Laurate head right. Countermark: radiate head 
 of Helios in circular punch (on head). 
Rev:  MHTPOPO KAICAPEI,  ETIG.   Agalma of Mt. Argaeus placed on altar.

Grade: about Fine, orichalcum tone. Countermark VF.  
Die Axis:  15°.  Weight:   14.69 g. 

This coin was stuck in year 13 of the reigh of Septimius Severus. 
The countermark was most likely applied in 243/244 since there are no 
countermarked coins from year seven of the reign of Gordian III.
