SICILY: Syracuse. Ca. 425 BC. AR tetradrachm (16.95 gm).

Slow quadriga right, above Nike flying left to crown 
charioteer / Head of Arethusa right, wearing whorl 
earring and ampyx ornamented with olive branch, hair 
confined in saccus with meander ornament, four dolphins 
around. Boehringer 700 (V345/R478). Toned. Nearly very 
fine
