XP - Seleukos III - Apollo, Nice Patina

* Seleukos III (226-223 BC), Seleucid Kingdom of
Syria, AE14, Antioch Mint.
* Obv: Laureate head of Apollo, facing right.
* Rev: BASILEWS / SELEUKOU in two vertical lines
either side of Apollo seated left on omphalos,
holding arrow, resting on bow.
* Sear Greek#6929v, WSM #1043, Houghton #63.
* A nice little Seleukid bronze of the late 3rd
century BC. A typical eastern patina makes this
coin stand out. Great details and preservation for
type.
