EARLY ELECTRUM COINAGE: . Late seventh-early sixth 
century BC. El twelfth stater (0.96 gm).

"Linear" lion head right / Incuse with raised, 
anchor-shaped projection. Cf. Gorny & Mosch 108, lot 
1243. Unpublished in the scholarly literature, but for a 
twelfth stater belonging to another series of "linear" 
lion heads of slightly different style and with 
different incuse patterns, see Weidauer, Series XIX, 
120-121. Rare. Good very fine
