Note: There were 10 Greek towns with a name similar to "Apollonia", which struck coins with similar legends: Apollonia ad Euxinum (Thrace); Apollonia ad Rhyndacum (Mysia); Apollonia (Aetolia); Apollonia Mordiaeum (Pisidia); Apollonia Mygdonia (Macedonia); Apollonia Pontica (Thrace); Apollonia Salbace (Caria); Apollonis (Lydia); Apollonoshieron (Lydia). In the 1st. century BC Tripolis (Lydia) also struck coins using its former name Apollonia.
