  According to Waggoner (Early Greek Coins from the Collection of Jonathan P. Rosen,
  ACNAC No. 5 [ANS, 1983], p. 1, 1), "the obverse style and reverse incuse do not
  really conform to that Auriol type (citing Furtwängler's groups Fa and Fc), nor do
  they to the Phocaean pieces of 'Smyrna type' (see Rosen 596-598); yet the
  denomination is Massalian."
