 Archaic AR fraction of Masalia, Gaul 475 BC

  OBVERSE:
  Female head l. wearing bonnet and pearls.

  REVERSE:
    Incuse design with pellets.

           DESCRIPTION :
 An early and quite scarce silver fraction of
  Massalia Gaul dating to 475 BC, Rosen 1 varient.
  Similar to early Phocaean coins who settled the
 area. Weight is 1.2 grams and size is 9mm.
