AD). Silver basilicon (2.02 gm). Constantinople, ca. 1294-1320 AD. 
Christ seated on high-backed throne, his right hand in sling of 
cloak with his left on book of Gospels, IC—XC to left and right / 
ANKOCOÐI MXËËHVO Ð. Andronicus II with fork-shaped beard to right 
with Michael IX, beardless, to left, standing facing and holding a 
patriarchal cross on a step between them. DO 504. Sear 2400. About 
extremely fine.
