                                Description

     CONSTANTIUS GALLUS as Caesar, A.D. 351-354, AE3 18mm, aVF/F
     (obverse is almost VF)

     Obverse: DN CONSTANTIUS IVN NOB C. Bareheaded bust, right.

     Reverse: FEL TEMP REPARATIO. Soldier spears fallen horseman.

     In exergue: SIRM?=Sirmium mint

     Nice details on obverse. Nice full flan. Some rough surfaces
     perhaps appropriate for a rough ruler, whose harsh rule brought
     him execution at the hands of Constantius II, his cousin. Sear
     catalogs this coin at 30 pounds.
