                                Description

     AE-3 (19mm) of Crispus, as Caesar 317-326, similar to Sear 3926,
     aVF/aEF. Obv. CRISPVS NOB CAESAR, laureate bust r. Rev. VICTORIAE
     LAETAE PRINC PERP, 2 Victories resting shield inscribed VOT P R,
     on altar, ASIS. (Siscia mint) in exergue. The coin is gray
     (silvered?) with a weak obverse, but a very nice, detailed
     reverse. Legends are full but weak on the obverse. Crispus was
     the son of Constantine I by his first wife, but was put to death
     when Constantine's second wife falsely accused him of trying to
     rape her. She was also later put to death when her accusations
     were shown to be false. Payment by check or money order in U.S.
