     gm). Laureate head right / Nike advancing right, holding wreath
     and palm; L-B. Köln 3368; J. Lallemand, "Le monnayage de Domitius
     Domitianus," RBN (1951), pg. 99, 34; Dattari 6183 var.; Curtis
     2137 var. Near VF, porous, cleaned. Very Rare. 716282

     Domitius Domitianus usurped power in Egypt and led an
     unsuccessful rebellion against the Tetrarchy circa 295 AD. To
     counteract the threat required the personal attention and
     leadership of Diocletian and, after several months, the revolt
     was suppressed.
