                                Description

     This piece was minted circa 136 BC, under the authority of the
     moneyer Cn. Lucretius Trio. The obverse type depicts the head of
     Roma facing right, with legend TRIO behind, and X below chin. The
     reverse type features The Dioscuri galloping right, with legends
     CN.LVCR below the horses, and ROMA in the exergue. Coin is struck
     on a typical smallish flan, but otherwise grades Near VF, with
     clear to bold devices and nearly all of the legends visible. A
     pleasing example of the type, catalouged as Lucretia 1. Buyer
     pays postage/insurance, coin shipped on clearance of funds. PA
