Vecchi says : "Almond shaped aes grave Thee may be some connection between the club symbol (attibute of Hercules?) on these oddly shaped pieces and the same device in the Volaterrae series. The BMC asigns them to Tuder. Tehy would appear to date between 225 and 213 BC." The BMC reference to Tuder is to a city of that name. Vecchie does not seem to accept this attibution, but rather just lists them as an Umbria Uncertain mint.
