                            Silver Denarius

 Obverse: GEM behind head of Roma right wearing crested winged helmet,
    -X (16) beneath the chin.Reverse:Mars holding trophy and spear
                      in quadriga galoping right.
               C.ABVRI beneath horses, ROMA in exergue.

            Reference: BAB 1 (2 Gold Francs 1888), SYD 490.
                       Grade: Choice Very Fine.

            Comments: Scarce. Good portrait. Good reverse.
             Large planchet. Even wear and well centered.
              Grey and sand toning. Pleasant eye appeal.
