                        Sicilian mint, ca. 214-212 BC. Laureate, Janiform head 
                        of Dioscuri / Jupiter, holding scepter and hurling 
                        thunderbolt, in chariot driven right by Victory, grain 
                        ear below, ROMA in relief in linear frame. Crawford 
                        42/1. Among the finest known examples of this rare 
                        issue. Die flaw on nose of left-facing head. Toned. 
                        Extremely fine
