scepter and thunderbolt in quadriga r.; Victory figure behind hld. reins;
ROMA incuse below. CR 28/3. 6.68g. Lovely old collection toning and
excellent style. This is an example of the earliest style Janus head
didrachm characterized by superior style and high relief. cf. Crawford, pp.
103-105.
