Severus Alexander Denarius. Antioch. 222-235 AD. Struck 222 AD. 3.76 g. IMP C M AVR SEV ALEXAND AVG, laureate and draped bust right, seen from behind. FIDES MILITVM, Fides standing facing, head right, holding vexillum in right hand, standard in left. Not in RIC for Antioch mint. cf RIC IV 139A and 194; BMCRE 737 and RSC 57 (Rome) RSC states that the coin RIC refers to does not exist. From a Sev.
