Septimius Severus right / VIC BRIT P M TR P XIX COS III 
P P S C, two Victories holding between them shield set 
on palm tree; at base, two British captives seated back 
to back. C. 723. Hill 1166. Cf. BMCRE 261A and RIC 808 
(BRIT on obverse). A nice example of this scarce 
sestertius commemorating the British victory. Glossy 
olive green patina with patches of red. Good very fine
