Obv: IMP MAXIMINVS PIVS AVG, laureate, draped bust right 
of Maximinus, early portrait resembling Severus Alexander.
Rev: PROVIDENTIA AVG, Providentia standing left, holding 
wand over globe with right hand and cornucopia in left. 

RIC 13; RSC 77.

Apparently the die engravers did not yet know what the new
Emperor looked like. Rare.
