         Daughter of Marcus Aurelius and Faustina Junior
                       Wife of Lucius Verus.
          Was executed in AD 182 by her brother Commodus.

                            Sestertius

                   (Bronze 17.7 grams, 27.16 mm)

      Obverse: LVCILLA AVGVSTA, Her draped bust to the right,
            her hair arranged in a bun behind the head.
   Reverse:VENVS, Venus standing left holding apple and sceptre.

        Reference: Sear-, Cohen 74. Grade: About Very Fine.
 Comments: Scarce. Legible portrait and reverse with good details.
          Large planchet. Well centered. Good eye appeal.
                   Dark brown and green patina.
