                                Description

     This piece was minted in the name of Herennius Etruscus, who was
     the elder son of Trajan Decius. He was given the title of Caesar
     in 250, and was made Augustus the following year. He was killed
     in battle against the Goths at Abrittus, along with his father.
     The obverse of this piece depicts the radiate and draped bust of
     Etruscus facing right, with legends Q.HER.ETR.MES.DECIVS.NOB.C.
     The reverse features Herennius Etruscus standing left, holding
     rod and spear, with legends PRINCIPI.IVVENTVTIS. Coin shows very
     light granularity, but otherwise grades F, with clear devices and
     all legends readable. A nice example of the scarcer coinage of
     Herennius Etruscus, this example is catalouged as RSC-26. All
     coins guaranteed genuine without limitations. Buyer pays
