Obv: $350 Laureate head r. Rev: Camp-gate. RIC 39. VF. The camp-gate reverse, so common later on small Constantinian bronzes, is very rare on folles of the Second Tetrarchy. I’ve seen them, of course, but this is the first I’ve ever had to offer. This coin has moderately porous silvering and stable (repeat, stable) green verdigris on both sides which resulted in an unflattering scan. The obverse is so-so, but the reverse is actually quite nice. I was pleased to receive this coin and am confident the collector will be too.
