Cohen 2 (300 Fr.) var. RSC 2+a, Gnecchi I, pl. 36, 13 (same dies). Very rare denomination for Eugenius. Good very fine Gnecchi lists four types of miliarensis for Eugenius represented by a total of only six specimens. Gnecchi illustrates a coin from his own collection which is from the same dies as the present specimen, but he wrongly lists it (p. 82, no. 2) as though its reverse legend were VIRTVS EXERCITVS rather than GLORIA ROMANORVM.
