            Constantius I as Augustus. (305-306 AD). Silver argenteus (3.45 gm). 
            Serdica. CONSTAN—TIVS AVG, head laureate right / VIRTVS MILITVM, 
            camp gate with three turrets, arch open, no doors, •SM•SDÄ• in 
            exergue. This is the only argenteus of Constantius I as Augustus 
            listed in RSC. RIC 11a (R4), new officina Ä=4. RSC 304A corr., new 
            officina. Not in Cohen. From the same reverse die as the argenteus 
            of Maximinus II Caesar, lot 507 below. Mint state.
