Caracalla, 198-217 CE, AE sestertius, 28-30 mm. Obverse : M.
AUREL. ANTONINUS PIUS AUG. BRIT. - laureate head right.
Reverse : SECU(RITA)TI PERPETUAE S.C. - Security enthroned
right holding scepter, altar before. Grade VF/aVF. Choice
toning on a somewhat short flan. Sharp central devices, very
bold portrait. Large bronzes of the Severans are hard to
