        with Victory flying over shield, unpublished variant. Struck
        at Colonia Patricia, Spain. 19BC. 

        AUGUSTUS AR silver denarius. Struck at Colonia Patricia,
        Spain, circa 19 BC. AVGVSTVS CAESAR, Head of Augustus right,
        wearing oak wreath. Reverse - Victory flying right, holding
        wreath over shield. Listed as RIC I 94, with bare head right -
        This specimen shows the same bust facing right, but wearing a
        wreath instead of being bare-headed. 

        An apparently unique and unpublished variety, with one other
        specimen showing up on coinarchives, from the Tony Hardy
        collection. This specimen was Very Fine and realized $1,060 at
        auction in 2003. 3.5g, 20mm.
