The facts concerning it are apparently still being debated by the experts on late Roman coinage. It was apparently struck after 330 AD. at the Constantinople or Rome mint. The obverse is anepigraphic and has a helmeted and draped bust of Roma right. The reverse contains only a large "P": a Greek "Rho" for "Rome" or the Greek letter for 100? It is discussed by JPC Kent, "Urbs Roma and Constantinopolis Medallions at the mint of Rome," in Essays Presented to Sutherland: Scripta Nummaria Romana, pl 13, 29. It is 13mm in diameter. The item is guaranteed to be authentic and as-described, without time limit. U.S. customers add $7.00 to the winning bid for postage/insurance. Shipments to non -U.S. customers are at their own risk, and cost thereof will be negotiated by post-auction e-mail. All payment instruments must be in USD and payable at a US bank. Money orders/cashier's checks result in immediate shipment, as do personal checks of persons with a substantial and unblemished eBay feedback profile. For personal checks of persons unknown to me, or with little or adverse eBay feedback, allow seven business days for checks to clear prior to shipment.
