Gaul: Leuci Potin 18mm This coin was struck sometime after BC200 by the Leuci, a Celtic tribe living in North East Gaul. The coin is made of a metal known as potin, an alloy of copper and lead. The obverse depicts a wonderfully crude head facing left. On the reverse a boar is standing right, a symbol beneath. A variety of De la Tour #9044(boar left). Diameter 18mm, weight 5.09 grams.
