Ptolemaic Cyprus, Ptolemy XII, Æ13, (2.22g) (=1/8 obol on reduced standard
of drachm = c. 72 grams) Cyprus(?) Mint, Diademed and horned head of
Zeus-Ammon right. / P[T]OLEM[AIOY BA]SIL, Headdress of Isis. SNG Cop. 685 var. (as late 2nd to 1st century BC); BMC (Ptolemy X) 48-56 (Kyrene ?).
VF, green patina. Rare small denomination issue. The headdress of Isis
appears on tetradrachms of the second reign of Ptolemy XII, as well as some
obols, which leads us to attribute this type to Ptolemy XII.
