CRETE. Gortyna. Silver drachm 

(3.27 gm). Bearded head 
of Zeus or Minos right, wearing taenia, F under neck truncation / 
ÃOÑTÕNIÙN, nude Apollo seated three-quarters left on rock, quiver 
over shoulder, resting right hand on knee and holding bow in left, Z 
in right field. Cf. Svoronos 169, pl. xvi, 19 (no letter on 
obverse). From same dies as preceding. Very fine.
