Ancient Coinage of Cilicia, Alexandria Katisson (Alexandria ad Issum)

Modern day Hatay, Turkey. Founded by Alexander III as a memorial of the battle of Issus, and south-east of the present day Iskenderun at the foot of Mount Amanus. Imperial coins were struck from Trajan to Severus Alexander.
