Isaac II, Angelus. (1185-1195 AD). Electrum aspron trachy (3.82 gm). 
Constantinople. The Virgin enthroned facing, nimbate and wearing 
pallium and maphorium, holding before her the facing nimbate head of 
the infant Christ; on either side of nimbus, MP – ÈV, both with line 
above / ICAA[KIOC ÄEC], Archangel Michael, beardless and nimbate, on 
right and Isaac on left, both standing facing; the archangel wearing 
military attire, holding jewelled scepter in left hand and, with his 
right, crowning the emperor, wearing divitision and chlamys, and 
holding cruciform scepter and akakia; between their heads, 9; X M to
